Embarr's Princess~ Chapter 4Standing just outside of Yugi's home, a lone figure in a black cloak was in the pouring rain, staring up at the window where an amber-red light was coming from. Even in the dim lighting, white teeth could be seen that formed an evil-looking grin.
"Found you," the figure said with a young man's voice as he walked towards the front door.
But when he reached out his hand to the handle, the door flashed with a golden spark, causing the man to quickly pull back his hand.
"That sneaky brat; she's found another Guardian," he said with a hiss. He clenched his hands into fists, his anger boiling, but he quickly relaxed and his foreboding smile returned. "No matter; she can't stay in that household forever." He began to walk away and added, "When she comes out, I'll be ready for her," before he disappeared in a puff of black smoke.
"I don't understand. How is it that I'm here rig
The Guardian's Duelist Chapter 12
Syrus was sitting in the chair next to the couch, watching Hassleberry walk around the room impatiently, grumbling and mumbling to himself.
"When are they getting back!?" Hassleberry huffed.
"We just gotta be patient," Syrus replied.
As if on cue, a familiar golden light suddenly appeared in the center of the room.
Syrus jumped from his seat and let out of yip of fright. Hassleberry's eyes grew wide and he quickly stepped away from the light.
The light swirled like a tornado in place, scattering bits of shine across the room. When it slowly started to fade away, Jaden and Chazz could be seen inside it.
Once the light was gone, the spirit of Professor Banner sighed and Pharaoh leaped into the air and swallowed him. The cat purred loudly and trotted off.
"Jaden!" Syrus and Hassleberry called together.
The brunet looked at his friends and smiled.
Chazz said nothing and walked over to Morgan.
Hassleberry walked over to Jaden. "Yo, Jaden; what's up with the flowers on Chazz's noggin?" He as
Embarr's Princess~ Chapter 3It's night-time at the hospital and visiting hours ended long before. A nurse is walking down the hall with a tray of food in her hand. She came upon a hospital room with the words "Morgan Halo: No Visitors" written on the plaque.
The nurse knocked on the door. "Morgan?" She called. There was no reply, so she entered the room. "I have your dinn-" She never finished her sentence and she dropped the tray, which crashed to the ground. "Doctor! We have an emergency!" She ran out of the room quick as lightening, causing the sheets of the vacant bed to blow in the wind.
"Gah, not again!" Joey yelled, ruffling his hair in a fit.
"Sorry, Joey. I win again," Yugi said with a grin as he collected his earnings.
"How is it I'm lucky when it comes to dueling but I reek when it comes to BlackJack?" Joey muttered.
Yugi started laughing, but was interrupted when the the sound of clatter
Embarr's Princess~ Chapter 2 Part 2 Inside Morgan's hospital room, Mokuba and Yugi and the others were all standing around the bed, Morgan still unconscious as Kaiba had said. Her right shoulder was wrapped in bandages and was resting on a separate pillow.
However, Morgan seemed more asleep than comatosed, for she was breathing irregularly and moaning in pain as though she was having a nightmare.
"Whatever happened to her, it must have been really traumatic," Serenity stated sadly.
Morgan moaned again and tossed her head back and forth. "No Chenzira don't leave me," she called out weakly.
Everyone looked at Mokuba.
"Chenzira?" Yugi repeated.
Mokuba shrugged his shoulders. "She was muttering that name when we were rushing her here. I've never heard it before," he stated.
"I wonder who it could be?" Tea said, turning back to Morgan.
It was then that Morgan's eyelids began to flicker. Everyone took in a breath of surprise as she slowly opened her eyes. "W-Whe
Rebirth of The Being Tsubasa~ Chapter 1Hello, my name is Amulet. I'm what you may call a familiar; not the evil kind like demons to witches, but the cute kind that may be considered in some cases an imaginary friend or guardian spirit. But I don't look like a human. I appear more like a cat-sized fox with white fur and small cupid-like wings.
But enough about me. You're probably wondering what the heck was going on in the prologue. Well, in order for you to understand it all, we'll have to go back a week, when all of this truly started.
"Terra, hurry up out of the shower. The bus will be here shortly."
The sound of the water running was suddenly cut off and a hand reached out from the other side of the shower screen. I watched as it quickly grabbed the blue cotton towel that hung on the nearby rack and retreated back behind the screen.
A few second later, the screen parted to one side and a tall teenage girl stepped out of the shower, the towel wrapped tightly around her slim form. Her body shivered at the expo
CHOSEN BY THE MOON Chapter 2 Blizzard
"I think I see a cave over there." Embarr's telepathic voice was less than a whisper and I had barely heard her.
Crystal was now at a slow walk and I could tell she was exhausted from all the running, for her breathing was coming in wheezing gasps and sweat covered her neck.
I looked up and tried to find the Moon through the still, thick-nettled trees, but heavy grey clouds were quickly forming throughout the whole sky.
All of a sudden, a strong gust of wind started up and slammed against my right, nearly causing me to fall out of the saddle.
Crystal began to whinny in fear and reared up slightly, as if the sudden storm was unnatural.
I quickly took the reins into a tighter grip and leaned back upright in the saddle. "Calm down, girl!" I called to Crystal, rubbing my arm in a circular motion on her neck.
Crystal stopped rearing, but she still breathed uneasily and stomped her hoof at the ground.
I turned back to Embarr, who was a f
