The Angel's Keyblade: Arc 2 ~ Chapter 2We set up camp not too far from the lake (thankfully on the other side where Beedrill were not present) and had dinner. It was at this time when I met the other Pokémon that were traveling with Ash, Serena, Clemont, and Bonnie. There was a blue, frog-like creature called Froakie and a large, robin-like bird called Fletchcinder that were with Ash and Pikachu. Serena's only Pokémon was a cute red and yellow fox named Fenniken. Clemont had a rabbit-like creature called Bunnelby and what I thought to be a cross between a woodchuck and a hedgehog named Chespin. Although Bonnie wasn't a trainer, being she was too young, she had a tiny, mouse-like thing similar to Pikachu called Dedenne as a companion, who had been asleep in Bonnie's bag the entire time of the first encounter.
When the humans served us Pokémon pellet-shaped food (which they called - unoriginally named- Pokémon food), I was a little skeptical at first. However, when the others showed me that it was good (an

A/N: Welcome one and all to Arc 2 of The Angel's Keyblade: Making Memories. I hope you are all enjoying Hikari's story so far. I've so been looking forward to starting up this arc, now that Riku has joined the team. However, Sora, as well as Hikari's parents and brothers are still missing, and with the suspicion that Genji is working for Xehanort, time is running short for our heros. Now, without further ado, here it is!
Arc 2: Making Memories
Chapter 1: Beyond the Lanes Between
Riku and I bowed upon entering Master Yen Sid's study.
"It's good to see you both safe, Master Riku and Hikari," the sorcerer stated.
We lifted our heads and relaxed slightly.
"Mickey explained to me what took place in Enchanted Dominion," Yen Sid continued, looking directly at me. "I am relieved to know that, despite your descent into the Dark Margin, you have returned without incident."
"Thank you, Master," I said, dipping my head.
Yen Sid nodded. "Now, the reason as to why I

Master Aqua and I sat on the shore, watching the waves in silence. I couldn't tell how much time had passed; the empty atmosphere of the Dark Margin made it feel like hours had passed, yet it also felt it had been but a few short moments. The thought that Master Aqua had been stuck here for over a decade caused a sense of sorrow to wash over me, bringing me to the brink of crying.
I suddenly felt a hand on my shoulder and turned to see the blue-haired woman looking at me with a sympathetic smile.
"Everything will turn out all right in the end, Hikari," she stated. "So please, don't cry."
I managed to smile back and nodded, then dried my watering eyes and returned to watching the tide. However, the silence didn't soothe my unease, and after summoning the courage, I looked to Master Aqua once more. "Can… can I ask you a question, Master Aqua?"
She looked at me with an interested expression. "What is it?"
It took me a few more moments to once again gather the rig
The Angel's Keyblade~ Chapter 29
That night, Riku refused to leave Hikari's side, sitting in the chair next to the bed and watching over the angel like a hawk. Chise had also refused to abandon Hikari and was currently fast asleep, curled up against her sister on the bed like a cat. The young Keyblade Master couldn't help but smile at the sight, despite the circumstances.
Still, one had to wonder when Hikari would wake up and what state would she be in when that happened. Chise had explained how the last time this had happened, Hikari was in a coma for a week, and when she finally awakened, she acted - as Chise put it simply- "like a zombie." She showed no emotions or uttered a single word for nearly a month, most of the time cooped up in her room, only coming out to eat, which was a rare occurrence. Eventually, she returned to her normal self, but had no memory of that month of "zombie-ness."
The story reminded Riku on how Nobodies were when they are first "born." Based on what Lea had told him when
The Angel's Keyblade~ Chapter 28
Hikari's blood-curdling scream was heart wrenching. Riku tightened his fists further, causing his knuckles to turn white and a thin trail of blood to drip down as his fingernails pierced his skin. His chest ached with grief and pure anger as the evil fairy began to pour her own Darkness into Hikari's heart while at the same time tainting the natural Darkness already present, just as she had done to him nearly two years before.
However, this was different, for while Riku had welcomed the Darkness, Hikari's body was rejecting the foreign power, causing the pain she was currently enduring. She was clutching the spot of her chest where her heart resided underneath, trying desperately to cast out the invading darkness. Her wings appeared -tearing holes in the back of her vest once more- and began to thrash wildly like a trapped bird, the evil green aura outlining them. Feathers scattered as the powerful wings smashed into the ground, shattering the stone with loud cracks.

Riku had heard shouts coming from outside his cell, but it had been short lived and was once again silent. The teenager placed a shackled hand on his head, trying to think.
The strange power he had sensed was not familiar to him, though the Light present had indicated that whoever had tried to invade the keep had powerful magic on their side. It reminded him of Roxas when he faced the Nobody that rainy day at the Organization's world nearly a year before. The combination of Light and Darkness that Sora's other half possessed in his two Keyblades - Oblivion and Oath Keeper- had almost been too much for him and forced him to rely on the Darkness he had worked so hard to keep at bay.
However, Riku knew that Roxas could not possibly be the one who had tried to invade the keep, but the idea of someone else holding powers similar to the Nobody was daunting.
Suddenly, a scream echoed throughout the castle above. The Keyblade Master looked up, just as a square hole opened in
