The Lake

Just beyond the snowy mountains
Lies clear peaceful waters
But it can mean more than just that
Peace that never falters

Peace is simple enough to find
I simply had to look
Beyond where our minds would first turn
For that was all it took

People think they can obtain peace
However, they are wrong
It is only experienced
And is loved all along

Peace is something that does not change
And it is far from fake
So if you wish to cherish it
Think back to just the lake.
